💢 Paying homage to Phra Phuttha Maha Chakkraphat at Wat Nang Nong Worawihan is an impressive experience. The principal Buddha image is beautifully outstanding with Sukhothai-style Buddhist art dressed in emperor's attire. It is enshrined in a chapel decorated intricately with Thai and Chinese art from the reign of King Rama III, which gives a sense of peace and sacredness when paying homage and asking for blessings. It is also believed that paying homage to Phra Phuttha Maha Chakkraphat will help bring luck, prosperity in business, and success in one's career, making it another place worth visiting and asking for blessings.

Worship the Buddha Maha Chakrapat
🏘 Wat Nang Nong Worawihan, a third-class royal temple, is believed to have been built during the Ayutthaya period around 1702–1709 AD. Later, King Rama III ordered its restoration as the area of Bang Nang Nong was the residence of Queen Sri Sulalai, the royal mother. Upon completion, it was established as a royal temple.
Key attractions within the temple include:
🏠 The main chapel (Ubosot): A building showcasing a blend of Thai and Chinese art, featuring murals depicting the life of Buddha and scenes from the Chinese epic "Romance of the Three Kingdoms." The principal Buddha image is the Buddha Maha Chakrapat, a bronze statue adorned in royal attire, in the Mara Vichaya posture, lacquered and gilded.
⛺ The northern vihara: Known as the Vihara of Luang Pho Phut, it houses the principal Buddha image, Luang Pho Phat. In front of Luang Pho Phat is Luang Pho Phut, a sandstone Buddha statue in Ayutthaya-style art.
🏚 The southern vihara: Surrounded by a sacred wall, the gate of the wall features a Western-style arch, while the door frame is circular in Chinese artistic style.
🛕 The principal stupa: A Rattanakosin-style stupa, though the exact date of construction is unknown, it reflects the architectural style popular during the early Rattanakosin period.

~Wat Nangnong~Glorious~
#Bangkok Attractions
Wat Nangnong is like a gorgeous nobleman, quietly sitting on the streets of Bangkok, waiting for every tourist to come to this "golden and magnificent temple adventure". The magnificence of the temple makes you want to exclaim as soon as you step in: "Wow, this place is so luxurious!"
The glittering Buddha statue, shining with golden light, seems to be smiling at you: "Welcome to my world!" You may think: "The decoration here is so gorgeous, how can I not take a photo?" Be careful, don't take too much attention here, otherwise you may become a "professional photographer of the temple" and let the believers passing by cast surprised eyes.
The believers around the temple pray devoutly, as if playing a "symphony of the soul" for you. Walking here, you may not help but sigh: "The atmosphere here is so peaceful, I really hope I can be so calm!" However, be careful not to be distracted here, otherwise you may accidentally bump into the incense burner and become a "funny character of the incense burner", making the believers next to you can't help laughing.

🏚Wat Nang Nong Worawihan, a third-class royal temple, was originally an ancient temple, believed to have been built in the Ayutthaya period.
🏰Later, King Rama III ordered the renovation of the entire temple in 2375 BE because the area where the temple is located was originally the residence of Somdet Phra Sri Sulalai, his mother. When it was completed, it was established as a royal temple.

🏢Wat Nang Nong is beautiful in its Thai architectural style mixed with Chinese art, which was the royal art style of King Rama III.

Wat Nangnong: Oriental Charm
#Bangkok Attractions
Wat Nangnong is a magnificent temple famous for its unique exterior design. The entire temple building is like a towering treasure ship, with a roof decorated with colorful decorations as the main theme, as if it is a palace in a dream.
The pilgrims seem to have entered a magical Buddhist world, carefully appreciating the indescribable charm of architectural art. This wonderful presentation of the fusion of Thai Buddhist spirit and contemporary creative aesthetics has undoubtedly become the biggest feature of Wat Nangnong.
The carefully carved Buddhist artworks in the temple are also amazing. From the Buddha statues wearing dragon robes to the distorted door god statues, all of them present the unique appearance of Thai Buddhist art. Not only can you get a glimpse of the charming charm of Eastern religious art, but you can also further feel the vitality of Thai religious culture. This outstanding performance of fully displaying architecture and art has undoubtedly become another highlight of Wat Nangnong.

Watnangnongworawihan is a temple that is meticulously built, especially the principal Buddha image. In fact, "Phra Phuttha Maha Chakkraphat is a Buddha image in royal regalia, where each piece of regalia can be removed."
This temple is an ancient temple from the Ayutthaya period. There was a major renovation of the entire temple during the reign of King Rama III. You can see from the Ubosot, Vihara, Chedi, and Sala that they have a Chinese feel, which was the preference of King Rama III.

Wat Nang Nong Worawihan
#Rainy season attractions
No need to go to the mountains during the rainy season.
For those in the capital city who can't think of a place to visit, I recommend visiting a temple on the Thonburi side.
Today, I would like to recommend "Wat Nang Nong Worawihan" on Wutthakat Road, Bang Kho Subdistrict, Chom Thong District, a beautiful white temple.
It's very easy to get there. Take the BTS to Wutthakat Station and then take a taxi to Wutthakat 42.
The temple has a strong Chinese influence, as the Chinese have been here since the reign of King Rama III. Nearby, there are also Wat Nang, Wat Sala Kruen, and royal temples such as Wat Ratcha-oros.
I'll whisper that there's a lot of food there too.
