#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 First experience at Golden Lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia! This time I departed from Kuala Lumpur Airport and took Malaysia Airlines to the resort of Langkawi. Thanks to my friend’s high-speed airline card, I was able to enter the airport’s VIP lounge, the Golden Lounge, for domestic flights. The VIP lounge is close to the domestic A2 boarding gate. The long and narrow space is quite spacious. You can clearly see the planes taking off and landing along the captain's runway. The view is great. It provides basic drinks, a cooked food area, and freshly cooked pasta. The taste is just so-so, but the view is good. The other flight was from Langkawi to Penang, also a domestic route in Malaysia. This time, I entered the St. Regis VIP lounge. The decoration was obviously more elegant, as if I had been upgraded from economy class to business class.
