The hotel is not on the beach. The closest beach is Patong Beach, a 5-minute drive. But I personally like Kata Noi Beach in front of Katathani Hotel. I like to walk on Kata Noi Beach more because there are fewer people. The sand is soft, the sea water is beautiful and clean.

And there is a bathtub for you to soak in and enjoy the sea view. From the bathroom, you can go straight into the pool. I really like this. Sometimes you just need NO PLAN! We had a wonderful stay at Wyndham. The facilities and services are wonderful. Free shuttle is available to and from Central Patong and the beach. Our room comes with a private pool where we enjoyed our romantic floating lunch. And most important to me, the stunning sunset view from the hotel (I can't wake up early, so no sunrise photo 😜) Don't forget to try the After You, which is my must-visit when I visit Bangkok! We recently stayed at this hotel for 10 days and 9 nights, including daily breakfast, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing lemongrass drink, which smelled amazing. The reception staff provided an excellent overview of the hotel map, which was very helpful as the hotel is quite large with multiple buildings. To make things even more convenient, they offer complimentary car transfers within the hotel and an extra service to Patong Beach. Throughout our stay, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The staff made sure we felt at home and introduced us to a variety of in-house activities, such as afternoon tea, a cooking class, a Thai food buffet, and movie nights. These activities were a great touch, especially for long-stay guests like us, ensuring there was always something to do. I also booked a pool suite room for my parents when they visited for three nights, and they were absolutely impressed with the comfort and experience. Unfortunately, on our last two nights, my partner experienced severe food poisoning from a meal we had outside the hotel. At 1 AM, I reached out to the 24-hour reception, and they immediately assisted us in getting to the hospital without any charge. Their kindness didn’t stop there—they checked up on us, offered to send breakfast to our room, and assured us they were available to assist at any time. I am beyond grateful for the care and attention we received. This hotel truly goes above and beyond for its guests. I will definitely return for another stay! Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay was definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at in Phuket. The room was so HUGE, I could skate in it! 😂 We stayed at the premier villa which is inclusive of a private pool. The staff were very kind and always willing to assist whenever we needed anything such as reservations, transport etc. The views from the resort are epic as it’s surrounded by the sea. The hotel provides shuttle service to the main beach and back at regular intervals / set timings. People with mobility issues should take note that the hotel is located on a hill. However, they also provide a buggy all through out the hotel so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Breakfast options were great as well. We did book a floating lunch on of the days where they delivered our meals on a floating tray in our private pool (super cool!). You just need to inform them a day or so prior and they will arrange it for you.
