I found a hidden gem of a hotel in Yangshuo! 1️⃣ I declare this is the most satisfying and comfortable hotel we stayed at during our Guangxi trip. This hotel has many advantages, but also one disadvantage, which I'll mention later. 2️⃣ What attracted me most to the hotel was its quiet surroundings. Nestled against the mountains, it's completely secluded from other traffic, crowds, and guesthouses... it's the only one there. 3️⃣ Hotel Name: Yangshuo Guanlan Hotel Hotel Location: Xingping Town! This is the disadvantage I mentioned. The hotel is relatively remote, a two-hour drive from the Yulong River, and it can get very congested with traffic! However, it's only a 10-minute electric scooter ride from the iconic 20 RMB banknote photo spot! I planned to take some ethnic-style photos of Xiaoya by the river in the evening. After finishing around 8pm, it was a short scooter ride back to the hotel. Hotel Facilities: The rooms are stylishly designed and there's a gym. Every corner is photogenic. Outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows is a private pool. The scenery is also beautiful, with unlimited fruit and drinks. Listening to music on the Bluetooth speaker, I felt completely relaxed. I also have to praise the delicious food at the hotel! We had three meals there. The bamboo chicken soup was delicious, and the mint ribs were amazing.
