The Yokohama Bay Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, with a length of 860m (the length of the central branch is 460m). The design refers to the scheme of Minggang West Bridge. The name imitates San Francisco's Harbor Bridge. The upper part connects Chuo Ward and Tsurumi Ward, the upper part is the Wangan Line of the Capital Expressway, and the lower part is National Highway No. 357. Under the road at the foot of the bridge on the Okutou side, there is an observation deck and a walking path "SkyWalk" (paid), where you can see the force and scenery of a large passenger ship passing by. This bridge is an important route for port logistics transportation.

Miss Elly Love Hate feeling for Yokohama

Yokohama some love it and some hate it. To my own personal experience and feelings. I would have to say that I love it. Especially around the Minatomirai area. It’s not chaotic and it’s very relaxing to me. This through my personal experience. There is lots of things that you could do in the Yokohama Bay Area itself. The best activities that I would recommend is taking the boat tour out into the Yokohama Bay pass the Yokohama Bay Bridge and coming back again into the bay. You can see the total difference from day view and night view. Both views are amazing. It’s really worth taking the boat tour. #miss_elly69 #missellyadventure

Most spectacular Landmark

The Yokohama bridge is symbolic of yokohama. Often you'd be reminded of the bay bridge when yokohama gets mentioned. While it not a pedestrian or walkable bridge. It is a permanent fixture of stunning views in yokahama. You are likely to see it from hundreds of different angles during different times of the day. Besides appreciation of it's cable stayed engineering, there are some very famous spots where you can see massive ships passing from underneath the bridge during low tide. Stayed one night during a business trip. It was a long weekend, and other cheap hotels were booked, so I tried a capsule hotel for the first time!
