Getting There - I’m taking a shuttle bus because this hotel just about two miles from the airport. It is very convenient and recomended to those who just need a comfortable place to stay for a stop over. Hotels - To be honest, the room was “tired”. The curtain were falling off the rail when me arrived. but the bed were so comfortable. the pillow were absolutely fluffy. Food & Restaurants - i love their restaurant. fabulous!! but the breakfast meal is just ok. Overall for a transit, is just fine with me.

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Area Long name😆😆😆 My plan was to fly from Boston (UA) to CHICAGO (ANA) to HANEDA, but I was stuck for 8 hours due to equipment trouble when I left Boston, so I had to stay overnight at Fairfield in San Francisco🥹 Of course, United Airlines arranged this for me. San Francisco International Airport is 3km away. Convenient for returning to the airport! Location: San Francisco Experience: Canceled Ticket and next itinerary with ANA on The Spot, Promised no-fault refund but Trip.com refused to refund! I bought ticket from Trip.com , the San Francisco to Tokyo flight price was reasonable , then my next flight is from Tokyo to Shanghai, 3 days later so I can do 2 Covid PCR tests in Tokyo according to China requirements. The ticket from Tokyo to Shanghai was 10x the normal price before COVID At the San Francisco Airport , the ANA staff then told me Japan is not fully open yet, I needed to get a tourist VISA before entering , and given my next flight is not in 24 hours, I cannot stay at Narita airport and wait for transit either… They told me I’m not the first person to be in this position and they can change my flight to later if I can get a VISA or just refund. I called the Japan Embassy of SF right at the Airport, they just told me to check their website for requirements, and can’t accept in-person applications, I will need to MAIL them everything and NO PROMISE how long it would take! This is too much of a risk, so I told ANA I wanna cancel both of my flights and they did it for me on the spot , the 2 tickets costed near $6,000 USD. Then the horror story happened, Trip.com told me that neither ticket is REFUNDABLE , Even for the second ticket which I’m sure due to limited supply , ANA must have sold it to someone else after I cancelled. I guess the lesson is NEVER to trust ANA again , and always ask for a WRITTEN confirmation before u cancel any ticket. And NEVER trust Trip.com, their attitude is just this is due to flight company policy , nothing we can do here. ALWAYS book your ticket directly from the AIRLINE , so the policy is clear and they can’t just kick the ball to the Agent. I’m deleting to Trip.com APP, never use it again !
