Early December was started with a roadtrip from LA to Denver. On the drive we stopped at Zion and had the most wonderful and refreshing hike. Every part absolutely breathtaking. Once we finished up the hike we stopped at a brewery that was in the town right by. Nothing like going on a fun nature walk and following it with a beer. This was a fun trip, and this park is one that can be done in any kind of weather.

Zion National Park is a must-visit spot on the Grand Circle tour. You'll be excited by the strange rock formations you've never seen in Japan. It's fun to hike up slowly! Zion National Park located in Utah. Very beautiful place to visit. If you love hiking this is one of the parks you should consider visiting. The Zion Park is not just for hiking, you can get on a shuttle to several destination points and just go walk in a park by the river or just sit and relax looking at beautiful, tall, multicolored mountains. We visited this park in April, the weather was perfect for hiking, not too cold and not too hot. The only thing I would say that we didn’t really like is that there were a lot of people that day, sometimes you feel like people were back to back or one after another.

As far as scenery goes it’s very hard to beat the stunning red rocks of Zion National Park in Utah, you will honestly feel like you have gone to space. The whole park is an unbelievable sprawl of red rocks, water features and vivid green trees - a contrast of colour like no other. The natural wonders you will see will honestly blow your mind, it takes a long time to process everything. On my visit I was lucky to see some snow on the higher parts which added even more to the experience, but no matter what season you come in you will have a fantastic time. Start slowly as you enter and take advantage of every car park and viewing area you can, there are so many different view points and features you do not want to miss any. Also listen for the water, we followed the sound of water from many different places and came across some beautiful steams, outlets and waterfalls - most of them we wouldn’t have found with our maps and guides. We drove slowly throughout the day and made our way through the park, it can get busy in areas but you can always double back on your way out of the park. Try and plan for a full day in the park, we stopped so many times we genuinely lost track of time at points. Be very aware of the nature around you - rocks can be icy or covered in moss and very slippery. Also even some of the smaller rivers and streams have strong currents and hidden dangers, be very careful! #foodandstay After a long day hiking Angels Landing or The Narrows, Zion National Park offers some amazing places to relax and enjoy great food. I stayed at Cliffrose Lodge, a peaceful riverside resort just minutes from the park entrance. The views of the red cliffs from the pool area were incredible, and the rooms were super comfortable with modern mountain decor. For food, Oscar’s Cafe in Springdale is a must-visit. Their giant burritos and burgers are perfect after a tough hike. I also had a great dinner at King’s Landing Bistro, where the local trout and wine selection totally impressed me. Springdale, the small town right outside the park, has a great variety of casual and upscale options, and everything is walkable. Staying in Springdale made getting into the park easy via the shuttle system. If you want an in-park stay, Zion Lodge is the only option—book early because it fills up fast! This is without a doubt the coolest place I have ever stayed, and I would go back in a heartbeat. The White Bison glamping spot is just outside Zion national park and is made up of modern day wagons around a man made lake. The wagons are incredibly well maid and beautifully furnished, they are warm, comfortable and sound proof. They have a full bathroom, two double beds with plenty of storage and extra bedding for the cold weather. I couldn’t get over how spacious and comfortable they were on the inside, they are so deceiving. The outdoor area is the highlight for me, at the rear of the wagon is a fire pit, bbq and full kitchen set up. The bbq area is fully equipped and eggs has a dishwasher. We grabbed BBQ supplies from the local store and had a meal outside by the fire - an incredible way to relax after hours in the car. The moment I arrived here, the huge red rocks made me feel as if they were created by ancient gods. The view from Empire Straight was especially breathtaking. The harmony of the red rocks and the blue sky unfolding before my eyes was truly moving beyond words. As I hiked, I was completely captivated by the wonders of nature as I watched the cliffs getting closer and closer. As I climbed the Stairway to Heaven and went higher and higher, the view of Zion Canyon below me took on a completely different look. The scenery here was so beautiful in every direction that I couldn't help but be amazed wherever I went. The time I spent at Zion Canyon was truly special, and it was an opportunity to feel the greatness of nature in person. I realized how happy it was to be able to experience the wonderful scenery that I had only seen in pictures in person. As soon as I entered, the huge cliffs and red rocks soared toward the sky, showing overwhelming natural beauty. As I passed through Zinc Canyon and Plate Canyon, I could see the marks carved into the rocks of different shapes. The shapes were so unique, and I couldn't imagine how nature created these shapes over a long period of time. The view from Derring Point was especially amazing. The view from there was like a painting, and it was an unforgettable memory. This is also a great place to enjoy hiking. As you walk along the trail, you can truly feel the silence and majesty of nature that you haven't felt in the city. If you want to experience the essence of Zion Canyon, this is a place I really recommend. This time, I chose the Watchman Trail. Although it's a relatively short route, the view of Zion Valley from the top was absolutely breathtaking. The contrast between the green river and the red mountain ranges created a palette of colors that no photo could ever truly capture. The trail wasn't crowded, making it perfect for quiet reflection. Plus, the variety of perspectives of Zion along the way kept the hike engaging and far from monotonous. The red rock mountains continued endlessly, and the path between them was unrealistic, like a scene from a movie. I walked the Pa’rus Trail, which was flat and easy for anyone to enjoy because it was a trail that continued next to the river. I felt like my mind was purified as I heard the sound of the wind, the sound of water flowing, and the sound of birds chirping. The contrast between the sky and the cliffs seen from the middle of the trail was really beautiful, and when the red light spread at sunset, it was breathtakingly beautiful. The endless red cliffs and deep canyons created a magnificent landscape that was hard to believe even when I saw it in front of me. I went on the Canyon Overlook Trail, which was a short but thrilling course. The view of Zion that I encountered when I arrived at the lookout at the end of the cliff was more dramatic than any nature I've ever seen. The shuttle in the park was well-operated, so I could easily tour around here and there without a car. I really recommend spending a day in Zion during your busy trip to enjoy the tranquility of nature.
