Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol and landmark of Guilin. It looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the Li River with its trunk.

The natural cave between the 'trunk' and the 'body' is called Water Moon Cave. At night, the moon and its reflection in the river form a beautiful scene.

It is the most representative scenic spot of Guilin's landscape and a must-visit for tourists.

Guilin's only well-preserved Min-Qing historic quarter, right in front of Zhengyang Gate of Jingjiang Prince City. Boasts 1,400 years of history, Qing-era mansions, time-honored shops, local snacks & intangible cultural heritage displays. Cruise: This iconic urban water route weaves through Guilin's heart, connecting the scenic Li River with Rong, Shan, Gui, and Mulong lakes. Glide past the city's landmark Elephant Hill, ancient city walls, and 13 distinctive bridges - each blending traditional Chinese design with modern artistry.

Along the way, you'll encounter centuries-old banyan trees, tranquil lotus ponds, and hidden classical gardens. There is an ancient Maping Mosque in Seven Star Scenic Area. It was built in the Qing Dynasty. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations and expansions. Throughout its history, it has remained an important space for the Hui Muslim community in Guilin.
It sits on the east bank of the Li River, showcasing Guilin's iconic scenery. It gets its name from seven karst peaks shaped like the Big Dipper. Highlights include Song-dynasty Flower Bridge, vivid Camel Hill, and a karst cave. A battery cart is included for comfortable touring within the huge park.

Gudong Waterfall is the only waterfall that can be climbed. You can breathe fresh air in the forest. Climb on the waterfall and feel the cool stream water on your feet in summer. Appreciate the red maple leaves covering the entire mountain in autumn.

Visit the only Muslim village in Guilin - Qianjing Village.

Xianggong Mountain is a celebrated scenic spot and a world-renowned photography paradise located on the west bank of the Li River in Xingping Town.

Standing at an altitude of about 350 meters, the mountain features over 500 stone steps, and it generally takes 20 to 30 minutes to hike to the summit. The mountaintop viewing platform, composed of five wooden tiers, offers an unrivaled 270-degree panoramic overlook of the First Bend of the Li River. From here, visitors can feast their eyes on a breathtaking landscape where orderly arranged karst peaks tower like jade pillars, and the crystal-clear Li River winds gracefully through the mountains, resembling a green silk ribbon.

Yangshuo's Thousand-Mile River and Mountains Panorama: a must-visit viewpoint that looks like a real-life ink painting

This is not a painting hung on a wall, but a breathtaking natural landscape that closely mirrors the iconic blue-green landscape scroll a Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains by Wang Ximeng from the Northern Song dynasty. Located at Xiyang Mountain in Yangshuo County, this site is a globally recognized photography destination - named one of the World's Top 10 Photography Spots in 2019 and featured as the backdrop for CCTV's National Day special program in 2017.

From the top observation deck, visitors can enjoy unobstructed 360-degree views: rows of cone-shaped karst peaks, winding tributaries of the Li River, lush rice paddies, and scattered traditional villages with white walls and black tiles.

The 40-minute golden hour before sunset bathes the peaks in warm, golden-green light, creating a dreamy scene reminiscent of a living traditional Chinese ink painting. When rainy days are followed by clear skies, floating mists drift between the peaks, adding a fairy-tale charm to the landscape.

Cruise: Yulong River is known as the Little Li River in Yangshuo. The bamboo raft ride is one of the most peaceful and beautiful experiences in Guilin.
