Reviews: 1-day tour to Mont Saint-Michel from Paris (round-trip + abbey admission ticket + optional audio guide)
Guest User2026-09-15
We participated as a family of four on September 12, 2026. Trip.com's instructions said to arrive 15 minutes before the meeting time, but the tickets we received said to arrive 30 minutes early. We arrived early just to be safe, and there were already quite a lot of people there. It was our first time at Mont Saint-Michel, and we were very satisfied. We met a little after 4 PM and headed back by bus, but apparently there was a tunnel accident along the way, causing a two-hour traffic jam! We were scheduled to arrive at 9 PM, but ended up arriving at 11 PM. Bus trips can have these kinds of problems, so it's important to plan your schedule with plenty of buffer time before and after the trip.

I never seen like that before in an island. Mont Saint Michelle is something you need put it in your bucket list. If you vist Paris France, you need to include 1 day going there using *** leaving 7:15 am back by 9:00 PM.

This day tour was wonderful. Julie was super nice, upbeat and incredibly knowledgeable. We took a drive to Mont Sant Michel starting at 0800. As we rounded the corner towards the end of our drive we saw the Abbey in the distance. What a sight to behold. I got mixed emotions seeing it for the first time, and now understand why it's a UNESCO site. I was in awe of the mysterious, looming Abbey, and honestly the silhouette itself can stir emotion. Europe is our winter getaway, so we enjoyed the Abbey decorated for Christmas. I am so glad we decided to go with this tour company as we didn't have to worry about transportation AND our guide was great. We recommend this tour and will use this company again!

I'm so glad we drove here so we could take our time taking in all the scenic areas. We got pictures with the sheep and the castle in the background. The closer you drive there the prettier it gets and the walk to the castle is worth it. Saw pretty birds. It's all worth the trip. I'm glad we booked a walking tour, it was worth it hearing all the stories and if it weren't for the guide we wouldn't have seen hardly anything. Quite the experience. And we got ice cream on our way back down and the price wasn't sky high like some reviews said. While walking to the castle we noticed lots of kids walking in the clay area and sinking, like it was a big local thing. There's so much to say about this place and to think we were debating on coming here thinking it was overrated. I'm very glad we went. TIP - Bring cash for bathroom it is NOT free.

We loved the tour! The bunkers, the beach, imagining everything that happened there. We were lucky to arrive when there was a free tour of Mont Saint-Michel from the abbey :) There weren't many people, and plenty of space on the bus.
