I give the pick-up service three points, and the Halong Bay cruise ship five points, so the comprehensive four points. It is recommended to read the service content carefully before ordering, ask about the pick-up time and the type of car, boarding and disembarking time. I booked the VIP category, but the pick-up is a carpool service, pick-up at 6 am. It should be a two-and-a-half-hour trip from Hanoi City Expressway to Halong Bay. The driver was half an hour late, and he shared a car with the local office workers and stopped a lot. Negotiated with the service provider and was told that this was the VIP service. After disembarking at 4:30, I was told that it was the same carpool service and I had to arrive at the hotel after 9 pm. This VIP service is the most disrespectful time for passengers.★

Our tour cover 3 attractions: Hoa Lu ancient capital we visited the first king temple, Tam Coc boat ride ok in the beginning but the same return route make the journey kind of too long and boring, Mua Cave hiking is the highlight for the view. Bonus for the biking before lunch. Young tour guide Cris from Wati very responsible and making sure we covered all attractions on schedule.★

Traveling alone in Hanoi, choose to travel with a group for a day trip in Halong Bay in Trip.com . 1. The day before the departure after the reservation is successful, the staff will add your WeChat to send you specific itinerary and precautions. It is best to look at the name and license plate of the car and cruise ship in advance, otherwise it may not be found during the trip to affect the itinerary; 2. The bus is picked up by time. I have set a five-star cruise package. The 20-seat bus is selected. The location is very comfortable. The time is about 8 o'clock in the morning. It is a better time. It is only late at night. 8:30 in the evening; 3. The five-star cruise ship feels very good. Whether it is space service or meals, the price difference is not big. It is recommended to choose a more expensive one. After all, it takes more than 2 hours to take a car unilaterally, and 1 hour by boat still affects the experience. 4. The travel process arrangement is also good, relatively easy and compact, more than 10 of our group are basically foreigners, people are very nice, everyone is very happy to play together; 5. There is only one self-funded project with a boat of 200,000 VND. After the experience, it is worth the price. In addition, when you first arrive in Xialong Bay, you will go to the shopping store first. It should be that you will basically go with the group here. Many tour groups can go without buying a circle or not going in, and it will not delay how much time. The impression is that although it is an English group, the tour guide is still very good. My wife and I did the evening motorbike tour with Backstreet Tours and it was very very cool. Having done a food tour on the back of scooters in Ho Chi Minh City, we thought we knew what the vibe would be, but this totally exceeded all expectations. It really is the backstreet tour, and I spent a lot of it thinking “we never would have found this place on our own and I’m glad we’re here”. We learnt a lot about the city from our guides Jelly and Snow. They were informative, friendly, and took a lot of photographs for us. We visited the less touristy part of train street and actually got to see the train pass twice - once in each direction! A highlight of the tour was ending at the Hidden Gem restaurant - super “instagrammable” with a big emphasis on upcycling and taking care of the environment, we had a great light meal at this lovely restaurant. The coffee - made by jelly - was also really really good. Overall, the service was professional, but also deeply personal and made me feel★

It was the best tour from Hanoi! The guide Kenny is very smart, kind and helpful. Good organization, no extra breaks, departure in time, good explanation, humor and care were provided. We got double pleasure from the nature and from the organization!
