It wasn't the best weather for our visit, but at least it stayed dry until we were headed back down! We enjoyed the funicular train and we saw great views anyway. There was a wonderful hilltop restaurant called David Brown's, and we had a lovely walk at The Habitat (ticket needed, but worth it) with the canopy walkways and the Biosphere Reserve where you can get even better views of Georgetown below. We saw lots of macaques, langurs and birds, plus a colugo during our walk through the rainforest. It was much quieter in the reserve too, possibly as many people didn't want to pay the entry fee.
My biggest tip is to go early (or late for sunset and night-time views) and spend a little extra to get Express Lane tickets for the funicular railway. When we visited, the queuing time for the standard ticket was 3 hours, but we only queued for a few minutes as the trains run regularly.★

This was around £55 and included transport to and from the place. I chose package B which included a drop, bicycles, zip line, giant swing, jungle coaster and coffee and cake. This was something I did so that I can conquer my fears and it was very scary (I’m afraid of heights) but I’m glad I did it. It was abit pricey for what it was but overall had a good time.★

I made a reservation because there was more to eat here~ When I visited, there were Chinese packages on the first floor and outdoors, and Koreans were separated from the second floor and received service. The menu itself seemed different. I didn't watch the performance well because it was on the second floor, but I ate well.
