Moda is a Spanish-style restaurant located in the city center, close to the underground station, only five or six minutes' walk away.
Moda is located at The Barracks, 61 | Petrie Terrace, Brisbane, Queensland 4000, Australia. When we arrived there were only a few people there and we were worried we might have made a mistake. This was not the case. The waiter was attentive, the decor was interesting and the food was amazing. My wife had what she thought was the best duck fillet she had ever had. I had the suckling pig with black brussels sprouts which was also delicious. Everything was creatively presented. We followed it with a dessert snack which was delicious.
This is a super delicious Spanish restaurant. It also has fruits grown by the owner's farm, which are super fresh. The persimmons are delicious, and the Spanish cheese is delicious. I just forgot to order the Spanish ham.
See my previous review... "Excellent" - We returned this year with a foodie friend from Melbourne and we were not disappointed. The only "disappointment" was that the menu had changed as they were committed to sourcing fresh food from different regions. The meal was ok. Our friend from Melbourne was delighted. Well done to the Moda team.
Awesome service great venue Held an intimate work function here, atmospheric venue with fantastic food. The service was the best I have received at an event of this nature. We were looked after with great care and attention. Food was plentiful and extremely enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend.
The restaurant has a nice wine list showcasing wines from France, Spain and Australia, including some lesser known Australian wines. The staff were helpful and friendly, adding to the overall experience. The restaurant has a rustic, outdoor feel, but the food was very tasty.
