Helsinki → Budapest day trip 🇭🇺 While staying in Helsinki, I thought, "I want to see a little more colorful European atmosphere," so I took a quick flight to Budapest! I was surprised that it was much closer than I thought. A direct flight from Helsinki to Budapest takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes ⏰ With just one flight, you can move from the calmness of Northern Europe to the gorgeous and warm atmosphere of Central Europe in an instant! ✨ 📍 Recommended Budapest day route 1. 🏰 Fisherman's Bastion A fairytale-like observation deck representing Budapest! The moment you look down on the Danube from the pure white structure... It was really romantic 💫 2. 🕍 Matthias Church Right next to Fisherman's Bastion, a beautiful church with roof tiles that sparkle like a rainbow ⛪ 3. 🌉 Széchenyi Chain Bridge & Walking Walk on the beautiful bridge connecting Buda and Pest Feel the charm of the city where the Middle Ages and the modern age come together with your whole body 🩵 4. 🏛️ Parliament Building A landmark of Hungary! Who knew Gothic architecture could be this beautiful… I couldn't stop taking pictures 📷 5. 🍽️ Enjoying local food - Foie gras & goulash!
