Cameron Highlands trek

Trek up the highlands and see spectacular views of the rolling green hills. You can feel the sense of prehistoric times and wonder at the animals inhabiting this dense forest. Visit the mossy forest and see close up the flora that comprise the ecosystem, including the beautiful trumpet pitchers. Visit the tea plantations below the highlands, and sample some of the tea grown locally, after an insightful tour of the tea production factory. When staying in the area, Tanah Rata is small, but is full of character and has a surprising amount of very good places to eat and drink. Brinchang is much bigger, but has a large number of western fast food places, and lacks any local charm and character.
