Málaga in the Heat: Chilling, Exploring & Eating Right

Málaga is great to explore — a city full of history, sunshine, and flavor! I did all the classic tourist stops: climbed the Gibralfaro Castle for stunning panoramic views, wandered through the Alcazaba, explored the Picasso Museum, and strolled along the Muelle Uno harbor. El Despacho de Tollín — an excellent budget friendly restaurant was such good value I went twice. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just what I needed after a long day of exploring. Because the summer heat was intense, I made sure to take midday breaks. I stayed at Líbere Córdoba Patio Santa Marta, and it had the perfect pool area to unwind. I ended up meeting other travelers there, and we had some great conversations — and beers — while escaping the sun. Málaga had the perfect mix of sightseeing, food, and relaxing vibes.
