#VietnamTrip #MySonRuins The My Son Ruins are located in a basin surrounded by mountains, about 40km inland from the World Heritage site of Hoi An in central Vietnam. This is a sacred place for the Champa Kingdom, which arose at the end of the II period and flourished as a base for maritime trade until the 17th century. Over 70 shrines made of baked bricks dedicated to Hindu gods remain, and the area was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1999. The ruins buried in vegetation exude a sense of impermanence, which is also beautiful in My Son. I think it's worth going!
