Enjoy cherry blossoms at Pingshan Park

Pingshan, shaped like a screen, hence the name Pingshan, also known as Yuewang Mountain because the capital of the ancient Yue kingdom was built at the foot of the mountain. During the Ming Dynasty, there was a Zhenhai Tower on the mountain, which was once ranked alongside the Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower, and Yanyu Tower as one of China's nine famous towers. From the tower, one can have a panoramic view of the Min River estuary. The existing Zhenhai Tower was rebuilt on the original site in December 2006. The park features attractions such as Pingshan's lush greenery, the cool shade of banyan trees, Lanxin Hall, Tianquan Heart-Cleansing Spring, Longquan Ancient Well, Quan Pond Bridge, Cuiping Corridor, Peach Garden's Flourishing Splendor, Sijian Pavilion, Drinking Horse Spring, Huanfeng Terrace, Qiyao Vat, and Zhenhai Tower. When the cherry blossoms bloom, the splash of pink amidst the verdant green is so bright and moving that it is unforgettable. Little Tip: Zhenhai Tower is closed on Mondays.
