This garden hotel in Guanghan is perfect for traveling with parents - photogenic and hassle-free!

For our May Day family trip, we randomly chose the Zhuangsheng Xiaoyue Garden Hotel near Sanxingdui, which unexpectedly became the highlight of our journey! 📍 Convenient location, suitable for all ages Just 1 hour drive from Chengdu, only 3 km from Sanxingdui. After visiting the museum with my parents, we could return to the hotel in less than 10 minutes. 🏡 Staying in an authentic Chinese garden Traditional Chinese courtyard with white walls and gray tiles, koi pond with blooming water lilies, and shady trees lining the walkways. We booked a two-bedroom suite of 200m², with the master bedroom connecting to a lakeside terrace where my parents enjoyed tea with lake views daily. The second bedroom had two beds, perfect for us and our child. 🐠 Something for everyone in the family 👉 My parents practiced tai chi by the lake in the morning, saying it had much more atmosphere than their community garden; 👉 Our child was obsessed with feeding the koi (free fish food provided) and even borrowed a Hanfu outfit to take photos in the garden; 👉 I loved relaxing on the balcony in the afternoon, reading books, watching fish, and drinking coffee - truly delightful. 🍳 Impressive breakfast My mom highly praised the freshly made Guanghan golden thread noodles, while my dad nodded approvingly at the pan-fried steak, saying it was "cooked just right." Our child couldn't stop eating cream puffs, having two in a row. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the beef noodles - we each ordered a bowl and still wanted more. 💡 Thoughtful details that touched our hearts The butler helped book Sanxingdui tickets in advance and offered mosquito repellent sachets when seeing the elderly. The handmade egg yolk pastries given at checkout were excellent quality too.
