The thing that impressed me about this branch is probably that it still feels just like the very first location. I was impressed by how they renovated the café on the foundation of an old house, yet still cleverly preserved the classic architectural features of Hanoi. Entering feels interesting — the café has two floors with a balcony overlooking the Old Quarter streets, which makes for a nice seating area. The space feels nostalgic, and natural light is well utilized. Downstairs, the balcony seats are enjoyable, while upstairs there are cozy spots near the windows with beautiful sunlight. The drink menu seems more “updated” compared to when I first visited the original location. I tried the hibiscus kombucha — it was decent, but not too impressive. I parked my bike at the Đinh Liệt intersection (20k VND). The weather was nice, so I walked around to enjoy the Old Quarter — and stopping by this café made it even better
