[Walking in Takayama Little Kyoto] Nostalgic street scenes in the rain, morning market walks and first experience of Hida beef

📍Itinerary On the third day of the trip, we took the JR express from Nagoya and arrived in Takayama in about 2.5 hours. The geographical location is just right, and it is an ideal relay point to Shirakawa-go or Kanazawa. It was drizzling on the day of arrival, which made Takayama more quiet. Walked to the "Miyagawa Morning Market" early in the morning. Although there were not many stalls, there was a sense of life. The Kuasou store's Kusamochi is very popular, and there happened to be a coffee shop next to it, with a perfect match of sweet and hot. Then we went to the "Takayama Old Street (Sanmachi Traditional Building Group Preservation Area)", also known as "Little Kyoto", and the street scene preserved in the Edo period is very charming. Wandering around the old miso shops and sake shops, I unknowingly had some trophies in my hands that would add weight to my luggage😅 📍Recommendation reason The street is small but full of details, which is very suitable for slowing down and feeling the atmosphere.
