Stepping into Saigon Central Post Office felt like entering a bygone era. Located just steps from Notre Dame Cathedral, the building’s grand arches, elegant wooden detailing, and soaring vaulted ceilings immediately transported me to early 20th-century Saigon. Inside, the bustling hall was full of old-world charm—green-tiled map panels, antique phone booths, and traditional mail desks that still operate. It was easy to imagine the city’s past unfolding here. I spent time browsing the souvenir stamps and handicrafts, sent a postcard (complete with a vintage stamp), and watched locals and tourists go about their business.
