Together with Ling Yun Temple in Pat Heung and Ling Du Temple in Yuen Long, it is known as one of the three ancient temples in Hong Kong. To the east of Ching Shan Monastery, there is Ching Shan Temple Trail leading to the urban area of Tuen Mun; and the Xiaosi Trail and Ching Shan Trail beside the temple lead directly to the Hanling Pianshi Pavilion next to the top of the mountain. And Beidu Rock is next to it. When Bruce Lee filmed the movie Enter the Dragon, it was also filmed here.
