Tsz Shan Monastery Hong Kong

Tsz Shan Monastery is a Buddhist temple on a hill in Tai Po, Hong Kong. It is famous for its 76-meter-high Guanyin statue. The atmosphere is very peaceful. Advance booking is required online. There is no admission fee, but bookings can only be made 1 month in advance. Opening hours: 09:30–17:00 (closed on Wednesdays). However, the museum is closed on some days. Please check carefully before booking. Getting there: • Take the MTR to Tai Po Market Station, Exit A3. • Take a taxi (~15 minutes) or bus NR532. I personally recommend finding a taxi or calling Uber. The fare is about 70 dollars because the bus waits for quite a long time. We went twice and called a taxi twice. There is a taxi service at the MTR station. You must dress appropriately. Cover your shoulders and knees.
