Playa Balandra isn't just another beach — it’s a whole journey. We took a speedboat across the bay as part of an excursion, and honestly? That alone was worth it 💨🌊 You completely skip the long car line (since entry is limited) and glide straight into paradise. ✨ On the way, we spotted whales breaching in the distance 🐋 (last picture), and even passed a sunken yacht lying dramatically on the water’s surface — kind of eerie, kind of cool (picture 6)🛥️👀 Once we arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream: shallow turquoise water you can walk through for what feels like forever. Cold at first? Yes ❄️. But totally refreshing under that Baja sun 😎☀️ Of course, we made our way to the famous Hongo de Balandra — the mushroom-shaped rock you have to see in person 🍄📸 ⚠️ Bring water shoes if you want to get close — the rocks are sharp and slippery! ➡️Just know: excursions give you limited time on the beach (about 30-40 minutes).
