Hill of Crosses

Hill of Crosses, a pilgrimage site, is located 12 kilometers north of the city of Šiauliai in northern Lithuania. The exact origins of placing crosses on this hill remain unclear (information from Wiki). The surrounding atmosphere is somewhat eerie and slightly scary 😅, reminiscent of walking through a cemetery in Thailand. However, upon reaching the top, the view is quite impressive. During the visit, the weather was rather chilly and windy, even though the sky was clear and sunny, the sensation was quite different.
