The Konpira Shrine

#cherryblossom25 I visited Niigata as a goshuin tour. The best way to describe this place is to sit alone in a quiet residential area. This shrine is located in the so-called "Shimo" area of Chuo Ward, Niigata City, and is dedicated to Kotohira Daigongen, the god of the sea. It is said that he saved the Kitamaebune from a storm about 200 years ago. A small but magnificent shrine suddenly appears in a residential area.
