In Ningbo!!! This affordable hotel is really incredibly comfortable to stay at

Taking the kids to check in at the hotel, the kids are most enthusiastic about this. This week, I stayed with my child at the Ningbo Dongqian Lake Cordis Hotel. Originally, I booked a basic room, but the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a lake view room. The Ningbo Dongqian Lake Cordis Hotel is very spacious and has a distinctly different style from the nearby Dongqian Lake Yuandu Resort Hotel. The overall hardware style is minimalist, and there were quite a few children staying during the summer vacation. The public area design is beautiful and eye-catching; the room facilities are relatively simple, and the wardrobe doors make noise when closed. 🏘️ Room type/layout: The hotel’s scenery is truly exceptional. The lake view room’s balcony is spacious and open, with excellent views. In front of you are white walls and black tiles in a garden-style architecture with sky-blue mountains and water scenery, making you feel especially relaxed. This time, I even captured a stunning sunset on the balcony. The hotel grounds feature streams and wooden boardwalks, perfect for taking great photos. 🛌 Amenities/facilities: As a hotel opened in 2019, the room facilities are relatively new. The children's playground is equipped with a large trampoline and slide, which kids love. However, to get between the room and the lobby, you need to take a shuttle bus. Although the vehicles are available on demand, there is some waiting time. The room does not have a smart toilet; the shampoo and body wash in the toiletries are 2-in-1 types; disposable bathtub covers require an additional fee; there is no minibar (including paid ones); children's toiletries currently only include toothbrush and toothpaste, with no body wash or shampoo sets provided yet; the adult toothbrush is a bit hard; some rooms have leaking washbasins, which may affect the experience. 🧹 Soundproofing/cleanliness: The room cleanliness is good, and the soundproofing meets daily living needs. Service: The front desk and shuttle staff are very polite and respond quickly to requests, providing overall good service. The Mingge Restaurant in the hotel has a great environment and service, and dining there during your stay offers a good experience. Food: The breakfast tastes good and has a relatively rich variety of dishes; the buffet dinner has fewer dishes and could improve in cost-effectiveness. Since dining out mostly involves farmhouse meals and Hanling Old Street mainly offers snacks, we generally chose to dine inside the hotel during our stay. 💰 Average cost per person: As a C4-level hotel, the price around 1000 RMB is quite reasonable; if the price reaches 1400 RMB, the cost performance is slightly lower. 💗 Other tips: - The hotel has a superior location, opposite the Shangshui Tent Camp and the "Little Switzerland" known as the Lake House. It’s only a five-minute drive to Hanling Old Street. - Check-in efficiency is high; if you arrive during the off-season (around noon), you can usually check in quickly. - If planning to stay during the summer vacation, note that there will be many children, which might make it a bit lively. Overall, the hotel’s scenery is indeed beautiful, but some service details could be improved compared to the view. It is suitable for families with children to come and experience.
