Paris Seine River Bathing Spot Reopens After 102 Years

On July 5, 2025, the three bathing facilities along the Seine River in Paris were reopened after a 102-year prohibition on bathing. They are located in the historic center opposite Île Saint-Louis, at the Quai de Grenelle, and in Bercy. After extensive engineering and renovation works, the water quality of the Seine has improved significantly. The facilities provide free changing rooms, lockers, and showers, and lounge chairs for sunbathing are available on the floating pontoon. These amenities will remain open until August 31. #travel
