Stepping into Siam’s Golden Past at Ayutthaya Historical Park

#summervacay We took a short trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park, and it was a peaceful escape from the city. The old temples and ruins were quiet and beautiful, especially Wat Mahathat, where the Buddha head is wrapped in tree roots. We also visited Wat Chaiwatthanaram, which looked stunning at sunset by the river. The whole place felt calm and full of history. It was nice to just walk around, take photos, and enjoy the quiet. If you're in Bangkok and have a day to spare, Ayutthaya is really worth the visit.
