Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is Seriously Impressive**

#summervacay Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is one of those temples that just hits different. You see that massive chedi (stupa) rising up into the sky and you’re like, “Yup, this is gonna be cool.” And it is. The vibe here is super chill but also kinda grand, you’re literally walking through centuries of history. There’s a reclining Buddha that’s super photogenic, rows of seated Buddhas wrapped in yellow cloth (major zen vibes), and yes, you can climb up the big chedi! The view from the top isn’t crazy high, but it’s super cool to peek down into the temple grounds and imagine what life was like back then. The whole place feels really peaceful, even with other tourists around. It’s well-kept, super photogenic, and gives off that “old world but still alive” feeling. Definitely one of the highlights if you're exploring Ayutthaya. Wear comfy shoes, bring water, and get ready to feel tiny in the best way. Wat Yai = absolute win.
