At just over 1,000 during the off-season, it's reasonable—plus, scoring a brand-new hotel in Phuket is no small feat, so I booked for two nights. 🏨Hotel Ambience: The actual stay was pleasant. If you're not obsessed with beaches, this quiet, secluded shoreline offers a freshly designed resort with stunning private views—a perfect retreat. Despite being in its soft-opening phase, the occupancy rate isn't low, with most guests being Chinese or Russian, along with a few Europeans and Americans. 🌟Standout Features: The service is decent but not extraordinary. Unlike other international chains, the management is mostly local—likely due to its soft-brand status. The front desk has a Thai staff member who speaks Chinese. 🚉Transport Tips: Veranda Autograph Collection is Phuket's first and Thailand's third Autograph Collection hotel, nestled along the sunset coast of serene Cape Panwa. A taxi from the airport takes about 70 minutes, and the hotel is roughly five kilometers from Phuket Old Town. 🌟Standout Features: The hotel’s design draws inspiration from the island’s natural and cultural wonders, paying homage to Phuket Old Town’s vibrant Sino-Portuguese architecture. Soft hues and organic curves blend seamlessly with minimalist finishes. The overall design is striking—lots of white accented with pink, giving it a trendy vibe, but the quality is solid, noticeably better than the Sanya Autograph Collection’s decor. 🛏Room Amenities: ⛰️The hotel is split into two sections along a gentle slope: the upper part features mountain-view rooms, while the lower part offers sea-view rooms. A road divides the property, with the open-air lobby and main public areas in the sea-view section and the gym in the mountain-view section. 🌊There are three public pools: the main pool in front of the restaurant, the beach pool, and the mountain-view pool. The hotel also offers stunning Andaman Sea sunsets, making the lobby a prime spot for taking it all in. 📝Tips: The beachfront pool suites open directly to the sand and come with private pools, delivering top-tier vacation vibes—though privacy is something to keep in mind, as the hotel’s sun loungers are right in front. Foreigners love sunbathing; the loungers near my room were occupied by one family from morning till night. Of course, with this room, there’s no need to venture out—just open the curtains for an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. The private pool isn’t huge (about 5–6 meters long), but it’s fine for a quick dip. Plus, the beach pool is just 10 meters away, super convenient. All in all, it’s a great choice for a staycation!
