The precarious stone pillars on the coast form a distinctly famous tourist destination in Australia, always arousing the curiosity of visitors. The name of this rock beach also means Twelve Apostles - a symbol of the 12 stone blocks in this park, formed by the process of erosion and salt erosion. Under the influence of harsh weather in the Southern Ocean, the limestone blocks are eroded, creating caves in the cliffs, becoming arches and collapsing, leaving stone blocks on the cliff face. At the bottom of the sea are stone piles up to 45 meters high. The erosion rate at the base of the limestone pillars is about 2cm per year. Because of the influence of waves eroding the rock face with the current headlands, it is expected to become new limestone piles in the future. However, only 8 of the Apostles remain, with the 9th having collapsed in July 2005. However, the curiosity of these rocks also makes them attractive to the Australian tourism industry. In 1878, Victoria's most famous shipwreck occurred in Loch Ard, with only 2 survivors. Visit the Grottoes (lucky visitors can see a rainbow formed by the water effect from the sunlight), the Arches (a spectacular view of the 12 Apostles in the late afternoon), London Bridge (originally a natural arch, in 1990 became the only bridge not to have a span at both ends without a connecting span) and the Bay of Islands.
