#summervacay Middle Street, the oldest commercial street in China, was buzzing with life beneath the summer sky. Historic Qing-style buildings lined the pedestrian street, their wooden facades now home to trendy boutiques, old-school candy shops, and local snack stalls. The scent of grilled squid and sticky candied hawthorn filled the air, and we couldn’t resist stopping for a bowl of icy cold bean jelly to beat the heat. 🏮🍢🍧 As the sun dipped low, the street shimmered with neon signs and lantern light. Street performers played the erhu in quiet corners while tourists and locals strolled arm-in-arm, shopping bags in hand.
