[Manji Stone Buddha/Nagano Prefecture] A mysterious stone Buddha carved with Amitabha Buddha

Manji Stone Buddha in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 A 3-minute walk from Suwa Taisha Shimosha Harumiya. Cross the red bridge over the Togawa River and go further, you will see an unbalanced stone Buddha with a small head and a large body. In 1657, a stone carpenter put a chisel to this stone to donate a large torii gate to Suwa Taisha Shimosha Harumiya, but the wound started bleeding. He stopped working and then, after receiving a prophecy in a spiritual dream, he used another stone as the material and successfully dedicated it. It is said that the bleeding stone was carved and worshiped with Amida Buddha. That is the origin of this stone. If you look closely at Manji Stone Buddha, you will see that it is carved with inverted swastikas, the moon, and the sun, and the more you look at it, the more mysterious it becomes, not just in appearance.
