A Day Enjoying the Leisurely Charm of Nice

Nice is a city where the warm sunshine of southern France and the azure Mediterranean Sea come together perfectly. The moment I arrived, the cobalt-blue sea and the red-roofed buildings created a picturesque scene that felt like a painting. Walking along the Promenade des Anglais, the sound of the waves and the gentle breeze naturally brought a sense of peace. Simply sitting on one of the white chairs by the beach and gazing at the sea was a healing experience in itself. The narrow alleys of the Old Town (Vieux Nice) revealed another side of Nice. Lined with yellow and orange buildings, the streets were filled with small cafes and shops. At the Cours Saleya market, the scent of fresh fruits and herbs filled the air, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the locals. Climbing up to the Colline du Château (Castle Hill) viewpoint, I was greeted with a panoramic view of Nice's beach, the old town, and the endless Mediterranean Sea. At sunset, the sea and sky turned a brilliant red, resembling a scene straight out of a movie. To end the day, I enjoyed a seafood platter paired with rosé wine at a beachfront restaurant. Nice is a city where simply walking and staying, even without a detailed plan, brings immense happiness.
