Wakayama Summer Trip: A Relaxed Kumano Kodo Journey ☀️

#summervacay We started our day with a leisurely wake-up before heading to the Shirahama Beer Brewery. It was quite small, but we managed to pick up some local brews to enjoy later. 🍻 Next, we made our way to Tore Tore Market for lunch. However, I have to give you a heads-up about the Tore Tore seafood BBQ there – it was a bit of a letdown. You actually have to buy basic condiments like soy sauce and salt separately, which felt a bit stingy. 😠 In contrast, the Kuroshio Market we visited a couple of days prior was fantastic; every table had soy sauce and salt readily available, and the staff there were incredibly friendly. The older staff member at Tore Tore Market, on the other hand, was quite rude! 😤 After lunch, we drove towards Kumano. Along the way, we stumbled upon a rest stop marked as "Honshu's Southernmost Station". This turned out to be a really cool spot with impressive giant rocks formed by the ocean's powerful waves.
