Ba Den Mountain

#ba Den Mountain Ba Den Mountain, also known as Ba Tay Ninh Mountain, is the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam, located in Thanh Tan Commune, Tay Ninh City. With a height of 986 meters, Ba Den Mountain is not only a famous tourist destination but also an important historical and spiritual relic site of the region. 🏔️ Highlights • Ba Den Buddha Statue: The top of the mountain is home to a 72-meter-high bronze statue of Ba Tay Bo Da Son, cast from more than 170 tons of red copper using European technology. This is the tallest bronze Buddha statue in Asia located on the top of the mountain. • Modern cable car system: Since its inauguration, the 4,265-meter-long cable car system has helped visitors easily conquer the mountain top in about 10 minutes, while enjoying the majestic natural scenery from above. • Mountain pagoda complex: Ba Den Mountain owns many sacred pagodas such as Buddha Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, Van Son Pagoda, forming a unique religious architectural complex. 🎉 Festivals and events Ba Den Mountain is a pilgrimage center with major festivals such as: • Ba Mountain Spring Festival (January of the lunar calendar): Taking place from the 4th day of Tet, attracting thousands of pilgrims. • Ba Den Festival (4th–6th of May of the lunar calendar): An occasion for visitors to express their respect to Linh Son Thanh Mau. • Buddha's Birthday, Vu Lan, Mid-Autumn Festival: Held year-round, imbued with the spiritual culture of the people of the South.
