Kashima Shrine in Shinagawa, Tokyo ⛩️ This place is located along Ikegami-dori, where there is relatively high traffic of people and cars, but once you pass through the torii gate and enter the shrine grounds, you will find yourself surrounded by a quiet and pure atmosphere covered in green trees 🌱 There are also many large, historic trees, and the good old scenery is still preserved! The chozuya (purification fountain) in front of the shrine grounds has water gushing out from underneath, a new style that I have never seen before 👀 The main hall, made of cypress and rebuilt before the war, has a heavy and impressive appearance! On the right, the old main hall still exists, surrounded by a roof, and you can see the buildings that have woven history up close.
