Wat Tha Sung

Wat Tha Sung, also known as Wat Chantharam, is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period. It serves as a spiritual center for the people of Uthai Thani and is considered one of the province's major tourist attractions. The temple is renowned for its beauty, with its highlight being the stunning 100-meter-long Glass Hall. Inside, you will find a replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat and the preserved body of Luang Por Ruesi Ling Dam, a revered monk famous for his expertise in Vipassana meditation and the practice of 'Manomayiddhi' (mental power). His teachings have attracted numerous disciples and devotees.
