Venice Implements Trial Entry Fee System

From April 18 to July 2025 (54 trial days), Venice will implement an entry ticket system. Tickets can be purchased daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, covering every day from April 18-30, plus Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May to July, as well as specific dates like May 1 and June 2. Visitors can purchase tickets through the official platform Venezia Unica or website cda.ve.it. Early birds (4+ days in advance) enjoy a €5/person discount, otherwise €10/person. Simply present your QR code for city entry, with scanning checks at major access points. Those without tickets face fines of €50-300.
