Wuzhen on a sunny day

Last year, I had the opportunity to visit Wuzhen, a beautiful ancient town that embodies the charm of Jiangnan's water towns. I stayed overnight and was truly captivated by its romantic and timeless beauty. The serene river winding around the old houses, with lantern lights reflecting on the water, created an incredibly poetic scene. I even enjoyed a sweet cup of tea by the river, sipping while admiring the view—a peaceful and relaxing experience. Another memorable experience was trying on the qipao, the traditional Chinese attire, with my friends. We were styled with makeup and hair, and took photos amidst Wuzhen's ancient scenery, feeling like we were living in an old movie. The locals were very friendly, and the local cuisine was delicious and suited my taste. However, it rained during the trip, which limited some of the experiences. That's why I always hope to return to Wuzhen on a sunny day, to fully appreciate its gentle and timeless beauty.
