🙏🙏🙏 Wat Arun Ratchawararam or as we call it, Wat Chaeng is an ancient temple that has been around since the Ayutthaya period. It was originally called Wat Makok Nok and is one of the most important temples in Bangkok. During the reign of King Taksin the Great, the capital was moved from Ayutthaya to Thonburi and he ordered Wat Chaeng to be a temple within the royal palace. At that time, it was also the place where the Emerald Buddha, which was brought from Vientiane, was enshrined. 📸📸📸 Don't miss it if you are a religious person who loves taking pictures. It is very beautiful. #WatArunRatchawararamWoramahawihan #BeautifulTemplesInBangkok #MakeMeritAndWorshipBuddha #VisitTheTempleAndMakeMerit #BeautifulTemplesInThailand #Bangkok #VisitBangkok #PlacesToVisitNearBangkok #ReviewBangkok #Thonburi #TakeBeautifulPhotos

Wat Arun, Bangkok is a temple that is called a super landmark of Bangkok because no matter which country you come from, you must come to experience Wat Arun at least once. It is a temple with many important things such as: 1. Phra Wihan Noi, it is believed that the Emerald Buddha used to be here before being moved to Wat Phra Kaew Morakot at present. Now there is a replica of the Emerald Buddha and the bed of King Rama II. 2. Chapel Noi, it is believed that King Tasin the Great used to be here and there is Luang Por Rung Arun, a Buddha image from the Ayutthaya period, here too. 3. Royal Monument of King Phutthaloetla Naphalai, who renovated Wat Arun after his father. 4. Monument containing the ashes of Vice Admiral Phraya Ratchawangsan (Sri Kamolnawin), the first director of the Naval Academy (the Naval Academy is now the Royal Thai Navy Headquarters, next to Wat Arun). Today, the navy still comes to take care of this monument regularly. 5. Phra Prang of Wat Arun, it is believed that it is a replica of Mount Sumeru in the Jataka tale, consisting of the Himmapan Forest and various mythical animals. It is recorded that before the establishment of Rattanakosin, it was recorded that if we arrived in Bangkok, we would always see the Phra Prang of Wat Arun. Some people wondered how it could be built with ancient technology in such a land near the river. Scholars have investigated and found that it was built using ancient construction techniques. There was sand and logs as a base to prevent the soil from moving, which is also a place worth studying. 6. The archway of Wat Arun. At the entrance of Wat Arun, there is the royal seal. It is carved in the ancient style, very much worth studying. And there is much more waiting for everyone to come and visit and learn more. #CentralTeam #WaitingForTheDayToTravel #VisitHistoricSite
