Wat Suthat a 200 years old temple in Bangkok

Visited an ancient temple in Bangkok, Wat Suthat Thepwararam, located near the Giant Swing. This royal temple is over 200 years old and was built during the reign of King Rama III. It houses a large Buddha statue, and the spacious grounds are decorated in traditional Thai temple style. Inside the ordination hall, there are beautiful mural paintings, and stone sculptures are placed throughout the temple. There are also two sacred Bodhi trees near the temple wall, grown from saplings brought from India. Don’t forget to stop by and take a look! Please dress respectfully, no shorts or short skirts.
