Wat Phra Sri Maha Uma Devi (Wat Khaek) Hindu temple. I have heard of Wat Khaek for a long time but have never had the chance to visit. Today, I specifically intended to visit Wat Khaek, not by accident, and I had some information that required wearing a mask before entering. When we arrived, we did not enter the temple but went to buy a garland next to the temple first. There are two prices: a small garland for 150 baht and a large garland for 200 baht. The shop gave each person a mask and informed us that we must wear a mask when entering the temple. My friend and I bought one garland each. When we entered the temple, we found a place to take off our shoes. We had to take off our shoes and there was a policeman standing there and a sign that said “No taking pictures of any deities.” We walked in with the intention of worshiping Ganesha today. We asked the people next to us what to do first. 1. Make an offering on the offering tray in front of the chapel. The prices are 60 and 100 baht. We can choose. When we are done worshiping, we will bring flowers and fruits to the next person to worship (from what I saw). 2. Make a wish in front first. Pray for a blessing. 3. Carry the offering tray and garland into the chapel. Queue for Pham to chant and offer a tray of garlands in the church. 4. The Brahmin will return the tray and water along with a souvenir card to us and touch the red dot on our forehead. 5. Then walk to find the Buddha image that we will worship which will be around the church. The first time you go, it will be a bit difficult to find because the church is in a circle and the area is quite narrow. 6. Then the ceremony is finished.
