Malta felt less like a travel destination and more like a place to pause and unwind. Despite its small size, every alley and beach seemed to tell a different story. The Mediterranean sunshine, breeze, and the scenery created by the old buildings were simple yet strangely romantic. Valletta's old town was where Malta's charm was most concentrated. The yellow limestone buildings, narrow stairways, and the sudden appearance of the blue sea at the end of the stairs were breathtakingly beautiful. Standing in the Upper Barrakka Gardens and gazing at the Grand Harbor, which was so vast it couldn't be captured in one glance, made me truly feel that I had arrived in Malta. The Blue Lagoon on Comino Island offered the most special moment in Malta. As soon as the boat arrived, an emerald sea unfolded before me. The water was so clear you could see everything beneath, and floating on the shimmering sea under the sunlight felt utterly liberating. Sliema and St. Julian's were places where you could sense Malta's leisurely daily life. Walking along the seaside promenade, stopping by a café, and enjoying a glass of wine as the sunset painted the sea—these simple moments filled the day completely. Malta didn't have an abundance of attractions, but that was never a drawback. In fact, the moments spent doing nothing but gazing at the sea were the most memorable. A small island that leaves a big impression in your heart.
