The emerald waters, clear down to the bottom, are more magical than reality, and floating on the water while gazing at the sky and sunlight brings an unparalleled sense of peace. That moment still comes to mind whenever I close my eyes. In St. Julian's and Sliema, you can feel the everyday life of Malta. Walking along the seaside promenade, sitting at a café to watch the sunset, and sipping local wine made for a leisurely time that perfectly wrapped up the day. Malta is an island suited for unhurried travel. Doing nothing but gazing at the sea and alleys was special enough. That’s why it lingers in the heart for so long.
