Tamagawa Suwa Shrine 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Suwa Shrine is located in Tamagawa, Ota Ward. The deities enshrined are Takeminakata no Mikoto Yasakatome no Mikoto This shrine is said to have been founded during the Jowa era (834-848). It is a shrine that enshrined a branch of the Suwa Taisha Shrine in Shinano Province, the main shrine of the Suwa Shrine. It was the guardian deity of the former Hara area. With the separation of Shinto and Buddhism in the Meiji era, the Kamisha (this shrine) and Shimosha (lower shrine) were enshrined together in 1880. It remains as it is today. The main shrine, the shrine grounds, the chozuya (purification fountain), and the shrine office are all unified in red.
