Guys, I recently visited Rizhao and stayed at the legendary Rizhao Sheraton Hotel—the experience was absolutely top-notch, and I just have to share it with you! 🌟 Prime Location: The hotel is situated near Wanpingkou Scenic Area, boasting an unbeatable location where you can feel the ocean's embrace the moment you step outside. Right next door is the World Sailing Championship Base, with sailboats dotting the harbor—perfect for stunning photos! Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, and you can take an evening stroll along the beach to encounter the magical "blue tears" phenomenon. Pure bliss! 🏨 Stunning Lobby: Walking into the lobby, the high ceilings and massive glass walls create an expansive view. The slowly rotating sculpture in the center adds a futuristic, high-tech vibe—it feels like stepping into another world. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, with the ambiance dialed up to the max. 🛏️ Cozy Rooms: I stayed in an Executive Suite and was blown away by the spaciousness—over 100 square meters of comfort. My favorite spot was the full-glass sea-view balcony in the living room, where I could watch flocks of seagulls in the harbor below while enjoying the ocean breeze and scenery. The bedroom, though lacking a balcony, still offered breathtaking views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was plush, and amenities like the Dyson hairdryer and smart toilet were top-notch. The only minor downsides were some issues with the lighting switches and toilet—hopefully, the hotel can address these soon. 🍽️ Delicious Dining: The Executive Lounge served amazing food, with Happy Hour featuring hearty dishes like roasted pork knuckle and beef slices, plus Shandong-style multigrain pancakes. Though they looked simple, the flavors were authentic—a foodie’s dream! The all-day dining restaurant offered a wide variety of breakfast options, including Rizhao specialties like lamb soup and pancakes, though I felt there was room for improvement in quality. 🏊‍♀️ Excellent Facilities: The gym was stocked with brand-new Technogym equipment, perfect for fitness enthusiasts. The pool was spacious and inviting, making for a relaxing swim. There’s also a kids' play area, making it a breeze for families to travel with little ones. 💁‍♀️ Thoughtful Service: From the concierge to the front desk, the staff were warm and friendly, proactively upgrading my room and thoroughly explaining the hotel’s facilities and nearby attractions. The stay felt truly premium. 📍 Address: No. 58 Lvzhou Road, Donggang District 💰 Price: Off-season rates around 300 - 500 RMB, with higher prices during peak season. Sea-view suites start at 1,500+ RMB. 🚗 Transportation: Free parking is available for self-drivers. Alternatively, take the high-speed train to Rizhao West Station—it’s about a 20-minute taxi ride to the hotel.
