In Osaka, you will have the opportunity to experience the traditional tea ceremony under professional guidance and feel the essence of Japanese culture.

Hometown of Japanese Tea Saint Sen no Rikyu: Osaka has a profound tea ceremony culture. Here, you can visit Sen no Rikyu's tea house "Taian" and experience the tea ceremony ceremony passed down by the authentic tea ceremony school. The tea ceremony is not only a way to drink tea, but also a spiritual purification and artistic enjoyment.

Rich course content: Osaka's tea ceremony courses are rich in content, including the history of the tea ceremony, etiquette, the use of tea utensils, and the making of matcha. You will have the opportunity to make matcha by yourself and learn how to taste tea correctly. In addition, some courses also include kimono experience, allowing you to feel the charm of the tea ceremony while wearing traditional clothes.

Teachers and teaching quality: Most of the tea ceremony teachers in Osaka are senior tea ceremony masters with rich teaching experience and profound tea ceremony attainments. They are not only proficient in tea ceremony techniques, but also know how to impart the spirit of tea ceremony to students. The teaching method focuses on combining practice with theory to ensure that every student can master the basic essentials of tea ceremony.

Well-equipped: Tea ceremony experience venues in Osaka are usually located in traditional tea rooms, with an elegant and tranquil environment. The interior of the tea room is decorated in authentic Japanese style, with tatami mats, creating a quiet atmosphere. The tea utensils are fully equipped and professional, including traditional tea bowls, tea whisks, tea kettles, etc. These tea utensils are carefully selected and maintained to ensure that you can experience the authentic tea ceremony.

Experiencing the tea ceremony here not only allows you to gain an in-depth understanding of Japan's traditional tea culture, but also allows you to feel the unique regional characteristics of Osaka.

I've already stayed at Japan's first W Osaka for you to see if it's as fabulous as it sounds

I've already stayed at Japan's first W Osaka for you to see if it's as fabulous as it sounds

During my trip to Kansai, Japan, I chose to stay at the long-awaited W Osaka From a distance, I could already sense its minimalist style just by seeing its silhouette This W Osaka is the first W in Japan and a masterpiece of the hotel designed by Tadao Ando. It's said to be the only black-themed W in the world, offering endless space for imagination~ . Due to a flight delay, I checked in at dusk At the height of the 19th floor, I was at the perfect level to take in the city's outline Upon opening the door, the room was bathed in the sunset's afterglow, with a 270° view that maximized the visual experience at that moment, turning the world into a soft golden hue . After settling my luggage, I began to explore every detail. At W's bar, there was a full array of cocktail spirits and mixing equipment 🍸 This is a rare experience among the various hotels I've stayed at The minibar and toiletries all featured the exclusive W OSAKA logo, adding a sense of ceremony . The design of the W OSAKA public area is completely different from most of the dull and outdated five-star hotel designs The arched corridor with interlacing lights on the first floor is a must-visit photo spot It's said that the lights change color with the seasons, and the recent pink-purple rainbow 🌈 has really touched my heart! The elevator shines with pink lights in the cool darkness, giving off a unique sense of mystery and vitality beyond 20 The 3rd floor is a bar and lobby reception, which turns into a bar at night 🍷 The 4th floor has a swimming pool 🏊‍♂️, a gym 🏃‍♂️, and a SPA 💆‍♂️ Here, you can easily get a sense of W's design and atmosphere . Additionally, the service at W Osaka is satisfying. Whether it's the staff or the guests, the environment is relaxed and friendly, and you can clearly feel the rich and diverse global atmosphere Coincidentally, it was my husband's birthday on the day we checked in, and when we returned to our room after dinner, we were greeted with balloons and a 'cake' It was so cute~ In the morning, the birthday balloons looked extra adorable against the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds outside the window If you're visiting Kansai, the design and atmosphere of W Osaka are definitely worth the trip to experience!

Cherry Blossoms at Osaka

Osaka Castle, one of the most popular spot for view the cherry blossom bloom, was built in 1583. The Osaka Castle Park with a castle tower at its center is considered the best place for viewing cherry blossoms in Osaka, as it was selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots" There are about 3,000 cherry trees planted in the park, including Yoshino cherry trees, mountain cherry trees, weeping cherry trees and many other kinds. DO NOT MISS THIS MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH BURGER AT BURGER REVOLUTION

#newyearnewtrip We had the most yummiest Kobe beef burger from a place in Osaka's Kuromon Market that definitely became a highlight during our recent trip. The combination of high quality wagyu beef with the unique atmosphere of the market makes it a must try for anyone visiting. It’s not just about the taste but the experience and how special Kobe beef is. Missing out on it would certainly be a regret ! The burger's rich flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture makes it an unforgettable treat. For its premium quality, it comes at a steep price. Ratings : 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Melco Coffee Roaster at Osaka

Really nice coffee, we tried both the latte expresso light and blend (iced and hot) it has very appealing and smells amazing! Nice and cozy place, the owner was very friendly, spoke with us about the beans and recommended the best blend based on our likes and dislikes. We found out that “Mel” is actually short for “Melbourne” 😁 had two pleasant cups of coffee. One of the best coffee i’ve tasted so far. The caffe latte with the espresso blend is so creamy, sweet and smooth. The Americano I had was using Kenyan Beans. Very floral, smooth, sweet, and clean aftertaste. Definitely would come back again if I had the chance. Their beans are up for sale as well. #café

Authentic Ramen Shop 'Tenryu Ramen Hassenro' in Osaka's Old Town

Authentic Ramen Shop 'Tenryu Ramen Hassenro' in Osaka's Old Town

Opened in 2015, 'Tenryu Ramen Hassenro' is an authentic ramen shop located in the famous Nishinari Ward. It is about a 3-minute walk from JR Shin-Imamiya Station. The shop has only an L-shaped counter with 13 seats. The shop is always crowded from noon to late at night, with many locals and foreigners. The staff can speak Japanese, Mandarin, and English. I always find it amazing that the staff can speak so many different languages. This time, I ordered the Tenryu Set: Tenryu Ramen, Fried Rice, and Gyoza. The ramen has a rich pork bone broth with a strong pork flavor but no unpleasant pork smell. The broth is slightly thick, with just the right amount of saltiness. The noodles are medium-thick and straight, smooth and delicious, and go well with the broth. The ingredients include pork belly, green onions, bean sprouts, and seaweed. The chashu (braised pork) in this restaurant is very tasty, with three pieces included. It looks like it will fall apart when picked up with chopsticks, but it is soft and tender when you put it in your mouth. The fried rice contains eggs, green onions, and carrots. It has a smooth surface, moist texture, and is slightly soft. The gyoza has a crispy skin, with just the right amount of salt, and is well-cooked. The fried chicken is also hot and delicious! The shop is very close to the station, cheap, and filling, offering great value for money. The ramen at this long-established shop is truly irresistible!
