Located near Morinomiya Station, "Sapporo Soup Curry Jack" stands out with its bold and eye-catching signboard. After a long day exploring the Expo, I was famished and ready for a hearty meal. I ordered the classic chicken leg curry paired with turmeric rice, and the presentation was truly impressive: a bone-in chicken leg, potato, carrot, cabbage, tomato, quail egg, lotus root, pumpkin, eggplant, okra, red sprouts, and two types of chili peppers, all generously served. The soup base is made by simmering pork bones, chicken bones, and seasoned vegetables, resulting in a rich and cloudy broth without the stickiness typical of Japanese curry. I opted for mild spiciness, and pouring it over the turmeric rice was absolutely delicious.
